Drew Brees

Drew has been in the news this offseason as everyone was anticipating his decision on whether he would be returning for the 2020 season. While most die-hard Saints fans knew there was a strong possibility for Drew’s return, there were those in the media who said Drew was seriously considering retirement.

Brees put all of those rumors to bed when he announced on February 18th via his Instagram page that he would be returning for his 20th NFL season.

Who Dat Nation officially blew a collective sigh of relief knowing the future Hall of Famer would be the signal-caller again. In the meantime, Drew was recently seen at a Children’s hospital in the Boston area trying to raise money for the local charitable foundation.

The event was called “Saving by Shaving” and featured celebrities who volunteered to shave their head for a worthy cause. Besides Brees, local Boston area greats like former Red Sox player David Ortiz as well as current Boston Bruin hockey players were seen getting their head shaved as well.

Brees also stuck around to do some radio there and was asked if another team would be a possibility to retain his services. He had this to say,

"Listen, I have no intention of going anywhere. I don’t care what the offer would be or what the situation might be, I am ‘Who Dat Nation’ for life,”"

Safe to say Brees will be in black and gold until he decides to retire.
