New Orleans Saints: 3 QB-needy teams that could sign Teddy Bridgewater
New Orleans Saints’ Teddy Bridgewater will hit the free-agent market this offseason and could see north of a $15 million contract.
Bridgewater has showcased his value throughout the 2019 season where he led the New Orleans Saints to a 5-0 record in the absence of their future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees.
At 27 years old, Bridgewater was dominant in his five-game stint with the Saints this past season, completing 67.9 percent of his passes for 1,384 yards and nine touchdowns.
He also only tossed two interceptions during that span making him one of the most highly sought after signal-callers in this years’ free-agent pool, a class that consists of Dak Prescott, Phillip Rivers, and Tom Brady.
Bridgewater has been in the NFL since 2014 where he was the 32nd overall selection by the Minnesota Vikings.
He has had a successful career thus far making one Pro Bowl and winning Offensive Rookie of the Year hardware. Bridgewater suffered what was thought to be a career-ending injury in 2016 and was forced to miss 19 months, putting his career in limbo.
After proving he can still play football at the highest level, Bridgewater will be looking to take his talents to a new organization and hope to continue writing his legacy.
Many teams will bid on the services of Teddy Bridgewater but I narrowed it down to three teams who I believe have the best chance of landing the star signal-caller.
