The New Orleans Saints are poised for a big year in 2020 and adding some familiar faces could be the key to their success.

Throughout the years, the New Orleans Saints have had many players come and go, some continuing their success and others fizzling out.

They currently have the second longest-tenured head coach in the NFL currently with Sean Payton being with the organization since 2006. Throughout that time, the Saints have made the playoffs eight times and Payton has coached hundreds of players, potentially even over thousand.

Payton has helped many players discover their potential and continue to succeed for other teams following their tenure in New Orleans, and he has utilized the talents of certain players who never found their stride with other teams.

Examples of those include Mark Ingram’s success following his tenure in New Orleans and Reggie Bush struggling to see action following his time in the Big Easy.

Over that span of time, Sean Payton has undoubtedly made and kept relationships and could look to target these three former Saints during the 2020 NFL offseason.
