Why a return of Graham is ideal

Now imagine a scenario where both Cook and Graham are on the field together with Thomas split out wide.

The headache that would cause defenses would be real. The Saints flirted with the idea back in 2018, so there is some precedent here. The question is could the Saints get Graham for the right price?

With negligible spending money this offseason and some real holes to fill at other positions, Graham would have to be willing to take a pay cut (he was set to make 7.5 million with Green Bay this upcoming year) and rejoin a contender in hopes of winning his first Super Bowl.

It looks like Jimmy Graham’s time with the Green Bay Packers is complete. This may be a viable option for the New Orleans Saints if the 10-year veteran is open to taking a pay cut and a reduced role for the sake of winning.

If so, the Saints can add another receiving weapon for Drew Brees and this already potent Saints offense.
