Taysom Hill

Taysom Hill might be the biggest wild card of the free agency period of the Saints. Hill mentioned that he wanted to be a starting quarterback, and he would leave if it took making that happen. Well, Brees is returning and Hill will not be the starting quarterback.

However, Mickey Loomis, the general manager of the Saints, says that they do have something special planned for the Swiss Army knife in the up and coming 2020 season. Last year, Saints’ fans saw just what Hill can do.

He ran the ball 26 times for 156 yards and a touchdown as a wildcat running back. He caught 19 passes for 234 yards and six touchdowns as a wide receiver. He also threw three completions for 55 yards as a quarterback.

Going into this next year, the New Orleans Saints now know what they have in Taysom Hill. Even if he is a restricted free agent, I don’t think the Saints let him go easily. When it comes to next year, it will be Hill’s break out year cementing himself as a Pro-Bowler.
