Tre’Quan Smith

In most people’s eyes, Tre’Quan Smith’s chance at a break out was last year, and his chances are up. Last year truly was a disappointing season for the sophomore talent in the NFL. The Saints are actively looking to replace him in free agency as the No. 2 receiver.

He went through multiple injuries and missed multiple games and it proved to let all New Orleans Saints’ fans down. Because of this, most Saints’ fans are for letting Smith take a backseat to a new receiver that they will bring in.

Smith took a step back from his rookie season. He caught 18 passes for 234 yards and five touchdowns. In terms of how many times the Saints throw the ball on the offense, that number is not very high whatsoever.

I think it is time for Tre’Quan Smith to make his mark on the Saints’ offense. His third season could be the one where Smith decides to break out as the rightful No. 2 receiver for the team solidifying his role in the offense.

Fearless Projection: 50+ receptions, 1000+ yards, 8 touchdowns
