The New Orleans Saints have a deficiency at the wide receiver spot because of the lack of production from Ted Ginn Jr at the No. 2 position.

The New Orleans Saints currently employ four main wide receivers — Michael Thomas, Ted Ginn, Tre’Quan Smith, and Keith Kirkwood. Out of those four, there is one quality wide receiver and it shows in the Saints’ offense.

Michael Thomas leads the team in receptions last year. He was followed by tight end Jared Cook and running back Alvin Kamara. The No. 2 receiver was barely a top-five Saint in receptions all of the last year totals.

Ted Ginn is now almost 35 years old and in his 12th season in the NFL. He is on his decline and the New Orleans Saints need to deal with that fact. He is not the player he was when he came to the Saints years ago.

The New Orleans Saints are in need of a wide receiver to play the No. 2 spot that will have better totals in production than Ted Ginn, Jr. Here are three wide receivers that could make an impact bigger than that of Ginn last year.
