Wide Receiver, Amari Cooper

Amari Cooper came to the Dallas Cowboys via a trade with the Oakland Raiders because he was not happy in Oakland. Since coming to Dallas, Cooper has thrived with Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot leading one of the most dynamic offenses in the league.

Last season, his first full one in Dallas, Cooper caught 79 passes for 1,189 yards and 8 touchdowns. Those are comparative numbers to what he put up in Oakland, but his offense is definitely light years better.

The New Orleans Saints are in desperate need of a No. 2 complimentary wide receiver to superstar Michael Thomas. There have been rumors about the Saints potentially in the market for the Cowboys star receiver.

However, he is going to end up being outside of the Saints’ price range. Currently, Cooper is still on his rookie contract costing the Cowboys just $5 million per year. His market value going into the free agency period is 5-year, $98 million coming out to around $19 million per year.
