The New Orleans Saints will have limited cap space and could look towards the XFL for help. Here’s three they should sign heading into Week 3.

As Week 3 of the highly anticipated XFL season comes to a close, there are multiple players who are making their case to be on NFL rosters net season. With the New Orleans Saints with around $12 million in cap and several players to re-sign, here are some low-value XFL players they should target.

Donald Parham, Dallas Renegades:

Donald Parham is a 6-foot-8, 237-pound tight end who plays for the Dallas Renegades.

Parham, 22, played his college football at Stetson University where he hauled in 180 receptions for 2,951 yards and 20 touchdowns. Parham went undrafted in 2019 after a stellar senior year at Stetson where he hauled in 85 receptions for 1,319 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Those numbers are insane for a tight end, showcasing his collegiate productivity.

The small school star spent time on the preseason rosters of both the Detroit Lions and Washington Redskins in 2019. Parham was released after the preseason but worked out for a few teams, including the New Orleans Saints.

Parham was selected in the ninth round of the 2020 XFL Draft and currently has 14 receptions for 217 yards and three touchdowns through the first three games of the season.

The Saints obviously should be keeping tabs on the star as he worked out for them already. They could use a bit of depth at the tight end position.

Parham would be cheap talent as he has basically no NFL experience and getting the opportunity to learn behind a two-time Pro Bowler in Jared Cook would do wonders for a young tight end.
