Penn State, CB, John Reid

John Reid is probably a name that you have heard little about and rightfully so with all the other big-name cornerbacks in the Draft this year. However, Reid is a later round option at the cornerback position.

Since the New Orleans Saints are missing their second-round pick and will likely draft a wide receiver with their first-round pick, they will need to keep an eye out for at least one possible third, fourth, or fifth round cornerback option.

Reid possesses all the qualities that the Saints would look for in someone to backup Lattimore or Jenkins. The best trait that Reid can posses with where he will be drafted is the ability to be moldable or pliable. The Saints will train him if he will accept it.

Next. 4 Combine players to watch Thursday. dark

This might be the most important day when it comes to the NFL Scouting Combine. The cornerback class is extremely deep and if the Saints are smart, they will try and seek out a future big name that they can get later in the draft.
