Number Three: Teddy Bridgewater

Teddy Bridgewater was acquired from the New York Jets via a trade back in 2018. Bridgewater was shipped to the Saints with a sixth-round pick for a third-round pick and it most definitely paid off.

Bridgewater, 27, is considered to be one of the top quarterbacks entering free agency, and he’ll likely be paid accordingly.

The Pro Bowl quarterback is almost certainly on the way out of New Orleans, seeing how Drew Brees announced his return for a 20th season and Sean Payton has nothing but praise for Bridgewater’s backup, Taysom Hill.

Teddy completed 67.9 percent of his passes for 1,384 yards and nine touchdowns with just two interceptions while leading the Saints to a 5-0 record during the absence of Drew Brees in 2019. Bridgewater is a proven winner and his 22-12 career win-loss record proves his case.

Bridgewater is seeking a massive payday in free agency this offseason which is why he has already played his final game as a member of the New Orleans Saints.
