3 reasons to worry about the New Orleans Saints in 2020
They will have a harder schedule in 2020.
Besides the mandatory two divisional games per team with the Buccaneers, Panthers, and Falcons, the Saints are also set to play the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, and San Francisco 49ers.
All five of those teams were playoffs teams last year and the Vikings were the team that knocked the Saints out of the playoffs. To put that into perspective, the Saints only played three playoff teams last year — Seahawks, Titans, and 49ers.
The other teams that they play non-divisional have the potential to be pretty good teams. They play the Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers, Chicago Bears, and the Denver Broncos. It could be a long season for Saints’ fans.
I hope that the 2020 seasons go as last year did with a 13-3 record, but the facts stated could bring a hard season ahead. However, just like the Saints persevered through hardships this year, they will do the same next year.
