New Orleans Saints: 2 important offseason dates to know

The 2020 offseason for the New Orleans Saints is a big one full of free agents, draft picks, and questions as to what next year will look like.

The New Orleans Saints had a terrific year last year that ended with a heartbreaker in overtime.

They ended the regular season with a 13-3 record and were ranked No. 3 going into the NFL playoffs, barely missed out on a first-round bye. They played the No. 6 Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card round and lost.

Now, going into the offseason, there are quite a few questions that the Saints’ coaching staff and management have to answer before the start of next season in order to prepare them for the chance at another Super Bowl run.

Going into the free agency period, the New Orleans Saints have over 25 free agents that could wind up anywhere at the beginning of the season. They also have six draft picks to work within to fill some gaps evident last year.

As the offseason progresses, there are certain periods, days, and times as Saints’ fans that you will need to know to follow along with the offseason. Here are the two most important dates you need to know before the start of the new year.
