Drew Brees

This is a cut and dry case. Drew Brees announced via Instagram that he has the intent to come back for at least one more season with the black and gold. Drew Brees will be entering his 20th season in the NFL.

He joins just a handful of people to play for 20 seasons in a career — Tom Brady being the only current one. This is good news. Brees probably offers the New Orleans Saints the best option to advance to the Super Bowl next year.

If Drew Brees wins the Super Bowl next year, he will probably call it a career, but we are not going to speculate on that topic yet, we will just enjoy the season that we have with Drew Brees while he is still wearing the colors.

Last year, despite being sidelined with an injury, he still threw for almost 3,000 yards and 27 touchdowns with only four interceptions. He also helped Michael Thomas set the single-season receptions record with 148 receptions.
