New Orleans Saints: 3 must re-sign players in free agency
Heading into free agency, the New Orleans Saints have over 20 players on the market, here are three that they must seek to re-sign.
The New Orleans Saints are heading into one of the most unknown free agency periods in recent years. The Saints have over 25 players on the open market going into the free agency period which leaves a lot of unknowns for the team going into next year.
They have no idea what kind of pieces of the puzzle they will have to work with to try and make a masterpiece and a run at the Super Bowl. However, most of those players are insignificant or career backups, but there are still starting talent that could leave.
Drew Brees, Taysom Hill, Teddy Bridgewater, Vonn Bell, AJ Klein, PJ Williams, Zach Line, Eli Apple, and Andrus Peat are all free agents. Most of them were starters at some point during the entire last season.
The New Orleans Saints could also get quality compensatory picks for all the free agents lost too. With that in mind, the Saints have done a great job or training and grooming backups to take the spots of the starters because of this being foreseen.
Most of the free agents should be let walk, but there are three significant ones that the New Orleans Saints should try at all costs to re-sign.
