New Orleans Saints’ safety Vonn Bell is coming off the best season of his career, and now he is potentially facing the free agency market.

Vonn Bell is one of the names on the New Orleans Saints’ roster who has the option to move in free agency. Bell has been fairly consistent for the Saints, but he made sure to earn a bigger contract in this most recent season.

In the 2019-2020 season, Bell posted career highs in total tackles, pass defended and fumble recoveries, while also getting his first interception and defensive touchdown of his career. In numerous games, Bell’s alertness and nose for the ball led to key possessions and eventual wins for the black and gold.

However, having completed four seasons in the league, Bell is no longer under the four-year, 3.97 million dollar contract that he signed back in 2016. Steadily improving his level of play has put him in line for an easy eight-figure contract deal, but where will he get that deal?

There are many teams who have needs at the safety position.

Bell isn’t a ball hawk stereotype at the safety position, so he is much more affordable than some of the bigger names at the position, such as Eddie Jackson and Tyrann Mathieu. That being said, here are some potential landing spots for Bell.
