Number Three: The Indianapolis Colts

Andrew Luck took the entire league by surprise when he announced his retirement prior to the start of the 2019 season, forcing Jacoby Brissett to take over. Jacoby didn’t have a bad season by any means, but he just can’t seem to find ways to win games.

The Colts need a guy who can lead the team to victory. Teddy Bridgewater has a 22-12 career record and is coming off a season where he started five games and won all of them. Jacoby Brissett has a career record of 12-20 and little excuse for not succeeding.

Teddy Bridgewater could be the final piece the Colts need to seriously contend in the AFC. Teddy would start on an offense that consists of TY Hilton, Zach Pascal, and Jack Doyle. Teddy would also have one of the NFL’s better offensive line’s to protect him too.

Brissett completed just over 60 percent of his passes in 2019 for 2,942 yards, and 18 touchdowns to go along with six interceptions. The Colts also have the second-most cap space this offseason and can pay Teddy accordingly.
