Clemson, S, K’Von Wallace

K’Von Wallace is a lockdown defense powerhouse from Clemson University. Wallace is ranked as the fifth-best safety in the 2020 NFL Draft. If the Saints could get Wallace with the No. 127 pick then it would be a huge steal.

While he was at Clemson, K’Von Wallace raised his skills ever year. He ended 2019 with one of the highest PFF graded safeties in college football. He also boasts one of the best coverage grades in college and could easily bounce back between safety and cornerback.

He is a rather smaller safety in height only standing at 5-foot-11, but he makes up for it is the physicality of his play. The greatest thing Wallace has is his brain. Wallace’s football IQ and field awareness make him a great safety net in the secondary.

Wallace has a keen insight into the quarterback and roams the back of the secondary like a hawk. He has the ability to locate the ball mid-air and make a play on it. His versatility will make him a high target in this draft for safety needs.
