The New Orleans Saints have five picks in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft; they will need to use them wisely to fill gaps left by free agency.

The New Orleans Saints have had extreme success in the past NFL Drafts. The scouting staff for New Orleans has used picks on players who have ended up staying with the team past their rookie contracts and into their careers.

Star running back Alvin Kamara was a third-round draft pick out of Tennessee. He turned into one of the greatest third-round picks the Saints have ever drafted. That is why the NFL Draft is so important to teams.

On top of that, the New Orleans Saints have quite a few free agents in this year’s market. If most of them leave, it could leave the Saints with more than one big hole to fill in last year’s playoff-run roster that the Saints had.

The New Orleans Saints rank No. 4 in offensive efficiency, No. 11 in defensive efficiency, No. 2 in special teams efficiency, and No. 5 in overall team efficiency. While it doesn’t look like there are many gaps that need to be filled, there is always room for improvement.
