New England Patriots, QB, Tom Brady

Obviously this list is purposefully missing Drew Brees because he is already a New Orleans Saint and will either sign back with the team or retire. However, the next biggest name in free agency is by far the future Patriots Hall-of-Famer.

Tom Brady is coming off of a $23 million contract which is second only to Drew Brees’ contract. The 43-year-old quarterback is certainly going to make some team happy this coming March. Could you imagine Tom Brady in the black and gold?

If Drew Brees decides to retire, Tom Brady could be a very capable replacement and could also continue to mentor a young quarterback being drafted or Taysom Hill. In the long run it is more Brady’s brain that you want to sign than his talent (although that’s not lacking).

These three names are certainly going to make big-name news in the upcoming free agency. If the New Orleans Saints sign any of these names, it could mean a big season up and coming for the black and gold and hopefully, another playoff run.
