Number Three: Kicker Kai Forbath

Kai Forbath was only on the Saints for one season.

He spent the 2015 campaign with New Orleans after the team released the struggling Zach Hocker. Forbath has made 86.1 percent of his career field goals and was a productive kicker for the Saints.

Forbath nailed his career-high 57-yard field goal against the Houston Texans, a kick long enough for the third-longest in franchise history. He also nailed two game-winning field goals for the Saints that year helping them significantly.

Forbath has a boot as his 132 career touchbacks go to show. Forbath was released in 2016 following the signing of Wil Lutz, who is already one of the best kickers in franchise history. Kai Forbath has had a very productive NFL career and his stop in New Orleans didn’t go unnoticed.

He is the third-best number five in Saints history and probably for a few other teams as well.
