This year’s NFL Draft is one of the deepest drafts at the top three positions that the New Orleans Saints need.

The New Orleans Saints are going to have a big free agency. There are a ton of starters that are set to receive bigger contracts or to want the same big contracts that they have. This leads to a decrease in cap space by just re-signing players.

Obviously, they will let some walk and some will receive bigger contracts and opt to move on elsewhere. To compensate for the losses and the gaps created in the starting lineup and bench positions, they will draft players who will sign cheaper contracts.
