The NFL Draft is one of the biggest events of the offseason especially for the New Orleans Saints who turn draft picks into stars.

The New Orleans Saints have one of the best scouting staffs in the entire NFL when it comes to scouting and offering selections for the GM in the draft. Over the years, the Saints have had consistent talent out of the draft.

For the most part, the Saints’ draft picks decide to stay with the team past their rookie contracts. In a previous couple of years, the Saints have drafted starting cornerback Marshon Lattimore, defensive end Marcus Davenport, and o-lineman Ryan Ramczyk to name a few.

However, some of the time, the way the New Orleans Saints get to where they want to pick is by trading other draft picks or players to move up or gain another pick. Because of their success, the Saints love to acquire draft picks for unused players.

Even on occasion, the New Orleans Saints have been known to trade for players in the NFL draft to use that route and acquire better players. The NFL draft is the lottery for the New Orleans Saints. What trades could the Saints make this year to surprise the NFL?
