Re-sign quarterbacks Brees/Bridgewater and Taysom Hill

The New Orleans Saints had three quarterbacks on the roster throughout 2019 — Drew Brees, Teddy Bridgewater, and Taysom Hill. Future Hall-of-Famer, Drew Brees, is deciding between signing back with the Saints or retiring.

Therefore his decision is out of the hands of the Saints. If Drew Brees retires, the Saints need to sign back Teddy Bridgewater. If Brees decides to stay another couple years, the Saints can let Bridgewater go and thrive with another team.

Either way, whatever happens with Brees and Bridgewater doesn’t reflect Taysom Hill. The Saints should try to sign back Hill regardless of anything that happens. He proved himself invaluable at multiple positions over the course of last season.

This would give the New Orleans Saints the best opportunity to win. Hill can play so many positions and even be a valuable backup to either Brees or Bridgewater, whichever one the Saints decide to spend their money on.
