Top 30 players in New Orleans Saints’ history

player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Running Back. 2011-2018. MarkIngram. 15. 23
Mark Ingram is one of the most difficult to discuss on this list. Ingram’s tenure with the New Orleans Saints lasted from 2011-2018. He left in free agency in 2019 and now plays with Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.
Ingram’s time with the Saints was cut short due to a suspension handed down in the 2018 season that completely lost his job to Alvin Kamara. Ingram was on pace to become the greatest running back in Saints’ history, but instead, now ranks 24th on our top 30 list.
During those eight years, Ingram rushed for over 6,000 yards and totaled 50 touchdowns rushing. He also added 228 receptions for 1598 yards and five touchdowns. He ended 89 yards shy of being the Saints all-time leading rusher. He also ranks first in rushing touchdowns in history.
While he was with the Saints, he was selected to two Pro Bowls. He added another one this year with the Baltimore Ravens. Fans can only guess how good Ingram would have been had he kept playing with the Saints. He most likely would have been the Saints’ best RB ever.
