MarquesColston. 5. . player. 15. . Wide Receiver. 2006-2015

Marques Colston was drafted to the New Orleans Saints in the 7th round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Colston joined the Saints the same year that Drew Brees and Sean Payton entered the picture. Colston came from lowly Hofstra to make a name on the big stage.

Colston played for the Saints his entire career from 2006-2015. He ended his career with 711 receptions for 9,759 yards and 72 touchdowns. He averaged 66.8 yards per game through all ten years as a Saint.

Colston is also currently ranked No. 1 in all tracked wide receiver statistics. He leads all Saints in receptions, touchdowns, receiving yards, and is No. 8 in yards per catch in history. He was able to use his size and strength to make a name for himself.

While he was never selected to a Pro Bowl or ever an All-Pro team, Colston still boasts a 2010 Super Bowl win that most players don’t have. Even fans today still recognize the impact that Colston made on the Saints’ franchise.
