Eric Martin is the second-highest wide receiver on this list. He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the 1985 NFL Draft in the seventh round. He played eight years with the Saints before playing one with the Chiefs and retiring after that.

In nine years, Eric Martin caught 532 receptions for 7,854 yards and 48 touchdowns. He averaged 14.8 yards per reception throughout his entire nine-year stint with the New Orleans Saints. He also only fumbled the ball 18 times.

Eric Martin was only selected to one Pro Bowl over the nine years. However, in Saints’ history, he ranks No. 2 in receptions, No. 2 in receiving yards, and No. 4 in touchdown receptions. He trails just Marques Colston in most of those categories.

Eric Martin cemented himself in Saints’ history. He was the glue that held the late 80s offense together for the Saints throughout that time period. Martin will forever be remembered as one of the great Saints.
