Quarterback. 13. player. 15. . 2000-2005. AaronBrooks.

Aaron Brooks was the best quarterback the New Orleans Saints had ever seen before Drew Brees came in 2006. Brooks played and started for the Saints from 2000 up until they released him and signed Drew Brees in 2006.

In his short six years with the New Orleans Saints, Brooks totaled 19,156 passing yards with 120 touchdowns. He also added 1,410 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns in those six years. Brooks was a playmaker through and through.

Brooks ranks No. 3 in Saints’ history in completions, passing yards, passer rating, and passing yards per attempt. He ranks No. 2 in total touchdown passes and touchdown/interception ratio. The only other quarterbacks in contention are Archie Manning and Drew Brees.

As you can see, in the years that Brooks played with the Saints, he left his mark. One can only imagine what Brooks would have done if he was given the career length of Brees or Manning with the New Orleans Saints.
