14. player. 15. . 1981-1993. JimWilks. . Defensive End

Without going undrafted, Wilks is probably the latest draft pick on this list. Wilks was selected with the 305th pick in the 1981 NFL Draft. As always though, the New Orleans Saints have used their draft picks extremely wisely.

Jim Wilks ended up playing his entire 13-year career with the New Orleans Saints. He didn’t start his first two seasons, but ultimately, started for nine of his 13 seasons in the NFL.

He tallied up 45.5 sacks with is top 10 all-time in Saints history. He also added 7 fumble recoveries in 183 total games. Jim Wilks mark was not left with stats but rather in long, durable career of 183 games given to the Saints.

According to Pro Football Focus, Jim Wilks ranks No. 12 in approximate value to the New Orleans Saints over his career. He has and always will be considered one of the greatest defensive ends to play for the New Orleans Saints.
