Laviska Shenault, Jr., WR, Colorado University

Laviska Shenault was the highest-graded wide receiver after the 2018 season. He returned to Colorado and continued to work on his game to be an even bigger threat. Now, NFL teams are gauging the impact that he is going to have on their teams.

The New Orleans Saints are in desperate need of a No. 2 receiver. Michael Thomas caught over 40% of the passes that Brees threw this year. That is crazy for one wide receiver. Therefore, the Saints are looking to add to their depleted arsenal with Shenault, Jr.

Shenault shows great versatility and is a big body that can go up and get the passes in the middle of the field, similar to Thomas. However, Laviska also has a second gear that Thomas doesn’t have an can get open in a downfield run.

He is tough and durable which is an often-overlooked category for draftees. Shenault can be a threat for the Saints for years to come. If he is anything like Juju Smith-Schuster, the Saints could get a steal with this pick.
