2020 NFL Draft: Top 10 players the New Orleans Saints should consider with the 24th pick

Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson University

Tee Higgins is a big-body deep threat for the Clemson Tigers. Higgins has immensely good ball-skills and the hands to go along with it. At 6-foot-4, Higgins averaged 19.8 yards per catch through 2019 and was one of the highest-graded wide receivers in this class.

Higgins’s wingspan gives him a big catching radius and that translates to a good red-zone threat. Tee Higgins runs his routes effectively and can come out of a cut with the explosiveness needed to burst past a defensive back for a big gain.

The biggest area for Higgins to improve on is his durability. He doesn’t like to play against physical cornerbacks which could hinder him going into the NFL. He downfield speed is not as great as it should be, but that can be easily fixed.

The New Orleans Saints could use a guy like this. We wanted them to trade for AJ Green for so long and now they might have the opportunity if he falls to draft their own version of Green. The key being if he falls to the No. 24.
