Jalen Reagor, WR, Texas Christian University

Jalen Reagor is a Ted Ginn with explosive speed downfield and great hands at the point of the catch. Reagor has immense ability to create his own separation from the defensive back and creates a mismatch for slower backs.

According to Nicholas Price on NFL Mocks, “Speed is Reagor’s most notable and intriguing trait as a player as he is often just blowing by defenders on vertical routes. On there are not too many defenders who can cover him stride for His speed can make him a viable weapon not just on offense with jet sweeps and tunnel screens, but he can be a standout kick returner as well.  Reagor is in the running for the fastest player in the entire 2020 NFL Draft.”

The biggest downside to Reagor is that scouts say he has no idea how to run a clean route. However, with the coaches the Saints have and Michael Thomas, Reagor would be in good hands. Reagor also has a tendency to get ahead of himself and drop some passes.

With Reagor using his junior year to shapen up some of those negatives, the positives by far outweigh the negatives. Reagor will be a big help to a team that desperately needs a speedy, deep-threat wide receiver to add to its core.
