Sign and trade of Bridgewater and Brees

The New Orleans Saints could also pull off a mega deal and sign and trade both Teddy Bridgewater and Drew Brees plus a couple of first-round picks for the quarterback phenom out of LSU that could end up being the best quarterback the Saints have traded for since Drew Brees.

Again, the Bengals pick is 3,000 points in value. The two first-round picks from the Saints would be roughly 1,600 in total and then the other 1,500 would come from the like of Bridgewater and Brees in a combo sign and trade.

The Bengals could ride out Brees for one more year and then let Teddy take the reigns in this scenario. That would give Bridgewater one more year of development and then the Bengals have a solid quarterback for the next 10 years.

While these trades might seem astronomical and unlikely, they are still a possibility as we discussed the point system breakdown and how Burrow’s value given his recent performances may be blown a tad bit out of proportion.

However, realistically, the New Orleans Saints will keep Brees and let Bridgewater walk in free agency.
