Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper is a free agent, and the New Orleans Saints need a receiver. It’s a match made in heaven.

The Dallas Cowboys are debating whether to even offer wide receiver, Amari Cooper, a contract. They traded for him in the middle of the 2018 season from the Oakland Raiders and he has been a star for them ever since that day. Could the New Orleans Saints give him the contract he’s worthy of though?

Amari Cooper finished his 2019 campaign with 79 receptions for 1,183 yards and eight touchdowns. He finished top ten in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns among all wide receivers last year in the NFL.

If the Saints could lure Cooper away from the Cowboys, then the due of Michael Thomas and Amari Cooper would be a force that the NFL wouldn’t know what to do with. Add in Tre’Quan Smith in the slot and you have the best receiving core in the NFL.

Amari Cooper could be the best wide receiver on the market and the Saints have the money to spend, they have to determine that Cooper is worth being one of the only free agents they sign on the year.

However, Cooper wants to win a Super Bowl and the Saints give him more of a chance at that then he had with the Oakland Raiders or the Dallas Cowboys. He could be just what the New Orleans Saints have been looking for.

Here are three reasons the Saints should sign Amari Cooper.
