AJ Green

AJ Green is coming off of a season where he didn’t play one single snap. Green sustained an ankle injury on the first practice of the season and never returned to the field for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2019 due to that injury.

The eight-year veteran was selected to seven straight Pro-Bowls to start his career until he wasn’t selected in 2018. In the last season, he was one the field, Green totaled 46 receptions for 694 yards and six touchdowns in just seven games played that season.

In his last full season which was his last Pro-Bowl season in 2017, Green had 75 receptions for 1,078 yards and 8 touchdowns. This just goes to show the potential that a non-injured AJ Green has to dominate the football field.

Green is a risk because of his age and the injuries he has sustained in the past two years, but if he can be signed for the right price, he would make an excellent counterpart to Michael Thomas. The two would thrive together as would Drew Brees.

dark. Next. New Orleans Saints' All-Decade team

The New Orleans Saints could afford Green, Cooper, or Sanders and they need to sign one of them. Michael Thomas needs help and obviously the Saints as a whole need help. Drew Brees could get another huge target this offseason.
