Vonn Bell is only 25 years old.

The fourth-year pro out of Ohio State University has something that no other safety on the market has in this year’s free agency. Vonn Bell is not only among the most talented, but Bell is also the youngest safety available for teams to sign.

This will make him even more valuable because if a team can get a long term contract for Bell, they could get him into his prime years. The Saints need to extend Bell to a long term contract guaranteeing that his better years are ahead.

If he can only get better with age, the second-ranked free agent safety has a lot to offer to future teams. Bell, arguably with Bridgewater, will be the most sought after Saints’ free agent on the market in 2020.

Vonn Bell is coming off of his rookie contract (which was four years long) and is now ready to sign a stars type of contract. The Saints need to fork over the money.
