3 reasons the New Orleans Saints should blowout the Vikings

The surging New Orleans Saints should be strongly favored to dominate the Vikings and head to Green Bay at the conclusion of Sunday’s Wild Card round. 

The New Orleans Saints vs. Minnesota Vikings wild-card matchup presents, on the surface, as a possible trap game.

The Minnesota Vikings are being touted as the underdogs with an overwhelming consensus of inevitable New Orleans victory. The stats are favorable; the Vikings haven’t won a road playoff game since 2004 and boast the worst postseason road record in the NFL.

Ominously, they were entirely left out of the NFL promo playoff video. Minnesota just hasn’t lived up to the hype that they brought into the season, but like every other playoff team, they still have a chance.

Despite this, for once, chronically nervous Saints fans should not have cause for concern. Recent haunting history notwithstanding, the Saints should be confidently picked as the winners of the Wild Card round.

That said, let’s dive into three reasons why fans shouldn’t be overly worried about Minnesota.
