Cameron Jordan surpasses Rickey Jackson as Saints’ all-time sack leader.

Right now, the current leader for the New Orleans Saints in career sacks is Rickey Jackson at 115.0 through 195 games. Cameron Jordan is second behind him with 87.0 through 144 games. While it might take him longer to do it, this decade is the one he passes Jackson.

Cameron Jordan has been an absolute monster recording over ten sacks in five of the nine seasons he has played with the New Orleans Saints. The now defensive captain of the team is poised to take over Rickey Jackson as the all-time leader among the organization.

In 2019 alone, Jordan has 15.5 sacks. At that rate, it will only take him a couple more years to surpass the Saints’ defensive legend. Jordan deserves the praise he is getting for the performances he is putting on on the field.

However, we will not forget Rickey Jackson, who also leads the Saints in tackles with 1,104 while Jordan only has 462 on his career. Both Rickey Jackson and Cameron Jordan will go side by side in the Saints record books for leading their respective defenses and their accomplishments.
