Wil Lutz (K), Thomas Morstead (P), Darren Sproles (KR), Deonte Harris (PR)

This special teams crew might be one of the best in the NFL right now. Wil Lutz has been the longest-tenured kicker of the decade for the New Orleans Saints. He is coming in the wake of Shane Graham and Kai Forbath. Comparatively, Lutz is heaven-sent.

Lutz has been over 80% of his field goals on all four years in New Orleans. Morstead was highlighted by various other sites as a candidate for the best punter of the decade for the entire NFL. That in and of itself is enough to put him on this list, but it is his stats that matter.

His yards per punt has been over 40 for his entire career which started with the Saints in 2009. He has been the only punter on the Saints for the decade. He has also only had one punt blocked in his entire career, which is impressive.

Deonte Harris is a rookie this year (2019). However, Harris has already tallied almost the top five New Orleans Saints kick and punt return numbers. Darren Sproles is three all-time on the return yards list making him arguably the best returner in Saints’ history.

Over the course of ten years, a roller coaster is the only way to describe the New Orleans Saints. Most players on this list currently play for the Saints which is good news for their Super Bowl chances. Hopefully, just like we ended the 2000s decade with a Super Bowl, let’s end the 2010s with one as well!
