The New Orleans Saints (13-3) look to come out victorious in a win-or-go-home Sunday afternoon Wild Card matchup against the (10-6) Minnesota Vikings

The New Orleans Saints road to the Super Bowl starts now.

They are two years removed from the “Minneapolis Miracle,” and Saints find themselves matched up with a familiar foe in the Minnesota Vikings in what will be opening-round NFC Wild Card game at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome Sunday afternoon.

Last year, when these two teams faced off in a Sunday night Week 8 matchup, the New Orleans Saints came out victorious in a 30-20 defensive battle. Saints capitalized off of two costly turnovers by Vikings wide receiver Adam Thelin and quarterback Kurt Cousins that swung the momentum in the Saints favor.

This year, statistically, the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings are close to being evenly matched.

The Saints offense is coming in hot, lead by future hall of fame quarterback Drew Brees. Last week in Week 17, Brees was 19-for-30 for 253 and 3 touchdowns with a 123.3 passer rating. In the last 6 games, Brees has thrown 22 touchdowns and 1 interception with a 100+ passer in each of those games.

That said, how should the Saints prepare for a do-or-die matchup Sunday?
