What do you do after a hideous defensive game?

Try to pitch a shutout the next. The Saints felt obliged in their final home game of the season – and on Monday Night Football – to make sure the Who Dat Nation knew their defense hadn’t disappeared for good.

The Saints defense held the Colts to 205 yards of total offense. The key was in possession. The Saints had the ball for over 36 minutes, limiting the amount of time the Colts had to do anything.

But the highlight of this game was Drew Brees. Not only did Brees break the record for most career passing TDs, but he also set a record for the highest completion percentage in a single game, completing 29 of 30 passes.

The NFL 100 may have left Brees off the top-10 all-time QB list, but we know exactly how good Brees is — the records speak for themselves.
