The New Orleans Saints will be in front of the home crowd as Michael Thomas looks to extend his MVP caliber season against rival Atlanta Falcons.

Michael Thomas has been taking the league by storm this season, which isn’t so surprising to the New Orleans Saints faithful, as Thomas has been the top target for the Saints for the past three years.

However, no one expected the amount of volume he was going to produce this season, especially in the absence of future Hall of Famer, Drew Brees.

Between the mix of two quarterbacks, the production for the star receiver has been groundbreaking as he looks to topple the long-standing NFL reception record set in 2002 by Colts great, Marvin Harrison.

Trudging on without key playmakers on offense for games at a time, when the Saints have needed a play on offense this year, they’ve been able to function through the consistent and dominant performances Thomas has produced.

He has hauled in over 83% of his targets and incredibly pulled down 12 of his 14 contested-catch opportunities.

On top of that, Thomas is crushing defenses with his ability to get first downs, with 41 going into week 10.

No other receiver has put up numbers even close to that, making Thomas one of the most dangerous offensive threats in the league.

PFF Rankings have also put Michael Thomas as the number one receiver in the league, with the highest grade of 89.1, almost a whole point in front of Chris Godwin who has been having an amazing season as well.

Coming off the bye week and Drew Brees getting his second start back from his thumb injury, Michael Thomas looks to do some major damage against a Falcons defense who currently sits 10th in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game.

Look for Michael Thomas to strike big and continue his dominating season this Sunday. If we’re lucky, Thomas will continue his dominance well into the second half of the season and complete this history-setting season.
