Summer is now in full swing, as teams start to prepare for training camp. The Saints finished up their last mini camp Thursday. Who Dat Dish has decided to put out a way too early power ranking for every NFL team.

The New England Patriots are obviously the reigning Super Bowl champions. Incidentally, there’s no change at the top of the rankings. The Patriots’ dynasty will continue unfortunately. However, there is a huge change for the runner up position in my opinion.

Furthermore, there’s always a surprise team that enters the upper tier of teams every year. It happens. The experts can study the countless amounts of statistics and numbers all they want. There’s no science in predicting the future. All things considered, Nostradamus does not exist in the world of football future prognosticating.

So without further ado, here is my NFL Power Rankings as of June 16th, 2017. The playoff teams are set in bold.

1.) New England Patriots

2.) Tampa Bay Buccaneers

3.) Dallas Cowboys

4.) Oakland Raiders

5.) Kansas City Chiefs

6.) Arizona Cardinals

7.) Pittsburgh Steelers

8.) Seattle Seahawks

9.) Tennessee Titans

10.) Minnesota Vikings

11.) New Orleans Saints

12.) Jacksonville Jaguars

13.) Atlanta Falcons

14.) Green Bay Packers

15.) Carolina Panthers

16.) Detroit Lions

17.) New York Giants

18.) Miami Dolphins

19.) Baltimore Ravens

20.) Indianapolis Colts

21.) Houston Texans

22.) Denver Broncos

23.) New York Jets

24.) Washington Redskins

25.) Philadelphia Eagles

26.) Cleveland Browns

27.) Buffalo Bills

28.) Cincinnati Bengals

29.) Los Angeles Rams

30.) Los Angeles Chargers

31.) San Francisco 49ers

32.) Chicago Bears

There are a few surprises in these power rankings. First, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are ranked #2 on my list. The Bucs are the team to beat in the NFC. In 2016, the Bucs were on the cusp to take that next step. With the addition of O.J. Howard, they do exactly that.

The Atlanta Falcons will NOT make the playoffs in 2017. Actually, this pick is not really far fetched. The NFC champion has a tendency to fall off in the next year. For the Falcons, it’s not so much how far they will fall but the increased talent in the NFC South.

The Saints will make the playoffs as a Wild Card. The Black and Gold have all the tools in 2017 to finally get to the postseason. The defense have added some great additions through the draft, and their offensive backfield has definitely improved.

The biggest shock may come at the #12 spot. This is my green roulette box spot. In other words, there’s no rhyme or reason to it, except for the fact that the Jags scored HUGE with Leonard Fournette. He could make the difference. Another shocker is the Minnesota Vikings over the Green Bay Packers. That is one that has merit. Not many people will buy into that either, but the Vikings were close last year.

There it is. The June NFL Power Rankings are out. Read them and comment on our Facebook page or Twitter.
