NO over CAR

The Saints will have to contend with a short week and make take a little time to get going. Mark Ingram needs to keep running hard as he will once again be the sole back.

Carolina’s defense played well and stymied Seattle’s offense and Marshawn Lynch. The offense looked messy in the air due to offensive line allowing pressure on Newton. This will be a back and forth game but the Saints have the weapons to win.

SD over MIA

Ordinarily I would go with the Dolphins here, but I think Rivers and that offense will be firing on all cylinders after that loss to Denver. The Chargers run defense has under-performed lately but this is a refocus game for the Chargers who are playoff-ready.

CIN over JAX

It’d be fun to pick the Jaguars here. Unfortunately, Andy Dalton has a stubborn way of trying to win games his team shouldn’t win. They should win this game though. I am buying the Dalton hype.

CLE over TB

Can anybody pick the Bucs in this game? The Browns are the clear favorite here.

MIN over WAS

Was that not the weirdest MNF game you’ve ever watched? I’m still trying to figure out how the Redskins won! It sounds like no RG3 here so I am rolling with the Vikings.

HOU over PHI

I would actually put money on this game. Arian Foster is back to being his old self and Jadaveon Clowney will be back period. LeSean McCoy is making me happy I didn’t pick him in fantasy. Maclin being out doesn’t help the Eagles either.

KC over NYJ

Again, who is going to be picking the Jets? Also, Kansas City’s defense is quietly good after early-season injuries.

ARI over DAL

As a Saints fan, I took a look at Dallas schedule and surmised that they stand to lose about 4-5 games between now and the end of the season. Then they lost to the Redskins. I believe the Cardinals will win home-field advantage this year.

SF over STL

I’m expecting a Niners team that is roaring back to life after their bye week. If St. Louis was at home I would give them a chance.

NE over DEN

Tom Brady will best Peyton Manning in this match up. The Patriots slapped the Bears around and shut down their wide receivers. The Patriots are proving to be a stubborn bunch and I think they can rattle Manning. Bill Belichick is going to use every trick up his sleeve (or hood?).

SEA over OAK

If Seattle loses this game I will be impressed. The Raiders aren’t winning anything this year but number one pick in the draft.

PIT over BAL

I cannot figure out these two teams. Baltimore has been playing well but Pittsburgh proved they can play some serious ball last week against the Colts. If comes down to establishing the run, I am rolling with LeVeon Bell.

IND over NYG

Nobody outs Baby Luck in the corner. Pittsburgh shocked the world with its performance against the Colts last week. I think they can get back on track against the Giants.

Agree or disagree with our picks? Who do you have as a ‘upset of the week’ candidate?
