Again tomorrow, millions of people will watch the biggest game in the world hoping their favorite team will reach the pinnacle of  professional sports. This year’s game features an extremely intriguing  matchup between a veteran playoff team propelled by powerful defense that won it all only three years ago and a cinderella team filled with offensive playmakers that somehow put it together in the playoffs to make it here. Now, I don’t hate any NFL team but, let’s jut say that I hope the Arizona Cardinals wipe the floor with Steelers tomorrow. After the 2008 season, Peyton Manning was voted the NFL’s MVP.  Although he did have a good year, I think this was kind of a throw away pick. Another guy that had a great season leading his team was Drew Brees.  I definately think Brees had a more impressive season than Manning. Not only did Brees have more passing yards (5,069 compared to 4,002) and touchdowns (34 compared to 27) but, his passer rating was better (95 compared to 96.2). In his rookie season Reggie Bush exploded into the NFL with 8  touchdowns and over 1,000 total yards. He looked like the player he was in college  and destined to become an electric NFL player. However, next year he suffered an awkward sophmore slump highlighted by 8 fumbles. This past season, his third, was even more of a dissapointment, as his mediocre start lead to a week seven injury that hidered his performance.
