Michael Thomas, WR

You had to know this guy was on the list, didn't you? Michael Thomas is one of the more polarizing players in all of football right now, mostly because we have hardly seen him play for a while. Thomas played in three games last season, missed the entire 2021 campaign and played in only seven games in 2020.

That is a lot of football missed for a guy who was once so important to the success of this franchise. It's funny putting it that way, because Thomas can still be highly important to the success of the Saints, and he can do it as soon as this season.

This Saints team is not far off from competing. They have talent on both sides of the ball, and hopefully have an answer at quarterback as well. The offense has just been missing that alpha dog, like Thomas, and if he can prove he's back and healthy in 2023, watch out.

We did recently see Thomas deadlift 575 pounds for reps, which was a welcome sign for fans. He looks good. He looks strong. Assuming he is healthy and he does, indeed, want to be in New Orleans, then buckle up for what could be a bounce-back season for the 2-time All Pro.
