Is there a better way to commemorate this than to fly a Saints flag for all to see, I think not!
After all the Saints are playing the Patriots on Monday Night Football and you have to let everyone know who the top dog really is.
CVS Flags recently supplied me with a free Saints flag for review and let me tell you when I received the box I was like a little kid at Christmas ripping [...]

AUTHOR: Keith Null | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

The New Orleans Saints have not made an official announcement but Adam Schefter from NFL network is reporting the team has re-signed former starting corner back  Mike McKenzie in a effort to boost the depth of the injury plagued secondary.
McKenzie was released by the Saints after his second knee injury in as many years, the most recent of which was a fractured knee cap suffered in November of the 2008 season.
With injuries to starting corners Jabari Greer and Tracy Porter the team has been scrambling for suitable replacements which ended in the Saints signing veteran corner Chris McAlister and now [...]

AUTHOR: Keith Null | IN: Gameday, NFL, Saints | COMMENTS: None Yet

New Orleans continues it’s dominance of NFC South teams with it’s latest lopsided victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
With every new win the Saints set a new record for the most successful start in franchise history and the 10 game winning streak is the first ever for New Orleans.
Drew Brees finally ended his streak of turnovers by not throwing a single interception or fumbling the ball and not coincidentally he also was not sacked for the first time since the week six match-up against the Giants.
Brees completed 19 of 29 passes for 187 yards and three touchdowns, a low yardage [...]

New Orleans Saints: CB Tracy Porter Has MCL Tear Not ACL, Possibility Of Return This Year

AUTHOR: Keith Null | IN: Injuries, News, Saints | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

It was widely reported that Saints corner back Tracy Porter suffered an ACL tear when he collided with Usama Young in the second quarter of the Saints win over St. Louis.
ACL injuries always require surgery which in turn nearly always land the player on injured reserve.
Luckily for the Saints and Porter the MRI he had tiday only shows an MCL sprain (tear) which doesn’t require surgery and generally carries a 4 to 6 week recovery time depending on the degree of the sprain.
This of course means the Saints will not lose him for the season and instead are now faced [...]

Tracy Porter was carted off the field in the third quarter of the Saints win over the St. Louis Rams, his head buried in his hands was an indication of what Porter knew and that was his knee was seriously injured.
A freak accident Porter was injured in a collision with teammate Usama Young and it was immediately apparent that it was severe.
The Saints have yet to make an official statement regarding Porter’s condition but it has been reported by sources close to the team that it is indeed an ACL tear, a season ending injury.

AUTHOR: Keith Null | IN: Gameday, NFL, News, Saints | COMMENTS: None Yet

Another week of football and another close game for the Saints, too many more of these and Saints fans everywhere will need to visit Hair Club for Men (and Women) because they will have pulled most of it out.
New Orleans narrowly managed to come away with the victory over the St. Louis Rams to maintain their perfect 9-0 record, but it was a very close game indeed.
So close in fact it went down to the last ticks on the clock and a hail mary pass to the end zone from Rams quarterback Marc Bulger to receiver Danny Amendola that was harmlessly batted away out [...]

New Orleans Saints: Linebacker Scott Fujita Expected To Play Against Rams, Cornerback Jabari Greer Ruled Out Among Others

AUTHOR: Keith Null | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

The Saints are set to square off against the St. Louis Rams this Sunday at the Edward Jones Dome but they will have to do it without starting corner Jabari Greer.
Greer injured his groin in the fourth quarter of the Saints win over the Carolina Panthers when he leaped to defend a pass intended for receiver Steve Smith.
Most likely head coach Sean Payton is playing it safe with Greer considering the softness of the Saints next two games, the 1-7 Rams and the 1-7 Buccaneers.
Greer will be replaced by last years starting corner Randall Gay who lead the team in passes defensed [...]

AUTHOR: Keith Null | IN: Editorial, NFL, Saints | COMMENTS: None Yet

The Saints are rolling right along this season winning eight games in a row while successfully setting a new mark for the best start in franchise history, as anyone will tell you these are not the Saints of old.
In the hype of this perfect start it can be easy to overlook the play of certain individuals on the team, after all it can be hard to outshine the play of free safety Darren Sharper and his league leading seven interceptions or Drew Brees and his Pro Bowl caliber field generalship.
But essentially that’s what has happened in New Orleans as the [...]
