Saints Select CB Tracy Porter

The Saints chose CB Tracy Porter from Indiana University with the 40th selection in the draft. Porter had a very solid career at Indiana, recording 16 interceptions. Porter is known as a ball-hawk and should add solid depth in the secondary.

Shockey Deal Done?

PFW is reporting that a trade sending Jeremy Shockey to the Saints might be in place. The deal is believed to involve multiple draft picks, including the Saints second round pick (40th overall).
ProFootballTalk followed up the report with one of their own, claiming that Shockey has not been notified of any deal.
