1. Tom Brady
This one was pretty easy. I know the Saints have had Tom Brady’s number since he joined the division but he’s easily the best quarterback in the NFC South.
While the Buccaneers didn’t make it to the Super Bowl this past season, Brady still put up incredible numbers especially considering he was in his age-44 season. He threw for 5,316 yards, 43 touchdowns, and six interceptions and if it weren’t for Aaron Rodgers having another impressive season, he’d have probably won MVP.
Brady had initially retired but then unretired after what felt like 10 minutes so he’s back for his 100th season. As long as Brady is donning that unflattering Bucs jersey, they’re Super Bowl contenders and that’s why he has to be No. 1 on this list. Not many other quarterbacks have that effect on their team or can turn a team around as quickly as Brady did with the Bucs.
