2. Jameis Winston

I debated putting Baker Mayfield in this spot but ultimately, I went with the Saints’ starting signal-caller as the second-best quarterback in the division. Jameis Winston, another former No. 1 overall pick, had some bad injury luck last year and it cost him the second half of the season.

Before he went down with an injury, he was putting up nice numbers and doing so without a true wide receiver threat. Alvin Kamara was about the only true weapon he had at his disposal yet Winston still managed to throw for 1,170 yards, 14 touchdowns, and three interceptions in his seven starts.

This year, Winston is back in the black and gold and will not only get Michael Thomas back from injury but he’ll also have Chris Olave and Jarvis Landry to throw to. We saw what kind of damage Winston could do with legitimate weapons during his Buccaneer days. Here’s to hoping that carries over to his Saints tenure.
